Review your current arrangement

Check notice periods, equipment ownership, outstanding payments, and any service end date in your existing agreement. Keep a copy of your records and avoid removing equipment until ownership is clear.

If recent pickups have been missed, note the last completed collection and how much capacity remains. Contact your current provider about an urgent full container. A future provider can review a replacement plan, but the existing oil still needs safe storage while the change is arranged.

Keep the transition accountable

A provider change needs three coordinated dates: the current agreement end, old container removal and the new collection setup. Keep safe storage available until the handoff is complete.

Before notice

Have the current agreement, notice instructions, equipment ownership and unpaid statement questions in one place. The current provider should address any immediate missed pickup or full container.

Before installation

Confirm the replacement location with the property owner and the new collector. Identify who moves oil, who grants entry and whether the old container blocks the approved space.

At first service

Give shift managers the new container instructions, service contact and agreed pickup plan. Check the first collection record against the site address and written terms.

Tell us what needs to improve

Share the service address, oil volume, existing container setup, and the issue prompting a change. Green Nature can review local coverage and discuss a pickup and equipment plan suited to the site.

  • Current collection schedule and recent missed pickups.
  • Container size and access constraints.
  • Preferred transition date after your current obligations are met.
  • Any payment or reporting expectations.

Coordinate the handoff

Once terms are agreed, identify who removes the old container, when the new setup can be placed, and where oil will be stored during the transition. Our team will confirm next steps for your location.

Give the site manager the old provider’s removal date, the approved location for new equipment, and the planned first pickup. For a group of restaurants, track these dates by address. Ask for the new collection frequency, equipment responsibility and any qualifying payment terms in writing so the kitchen has one clear set of instructions.

Before removing or moving any container, identify who owns it and when your existing agreement ends. Keep enough safe storage capacity during the handoff to avoid a gap in service.
