FAQ
Collection and scheduling

(347) 534-0622 →Do you collect used cooking oil from commercial kitchens?
Yes. Green Nature collects qualifying used fryer oil from restaurants and other commercial kitchens in its service area.
What does restaurant grease pickup include?
It covers used cooking oil from commercial fryers, sometimes called fryer oil or yellow grease. Grease trap waste stays separate from used cooking oil containers. For existing Green Nature oil customers, we also review smaller-trap cleaning at NJ, NY and PA locations, subject to address, trap size and access confirmation. See our grease trap cleaning guide for details.
Do you clean smaller grease traps?
Yes, for existing Green Nature used cooking oil customers with smaller traps in NJ, NY and PA, subject to address, trap size and access confirmation. Trap waste stays separate from used cooking oil containers. See our grease trap cleaning guide or contact our team.
How do I arrange fryer oil collection for a new restaurant?
Send the exact address, fryer count, estimated oil output, proposed container spot and access rules. We confirm coverage and discuss equipment and route timing before service starts.
Do you collect motor oil or household cooking oil?
No. This service is for commercial used cooking oil, not motor oil or household drop-off.
How often is used oil picked up?
Frequency is set from oil volume, container capacity, site access and the local route.
How should we estimate oil output before we have pickup records?
Count fryers and note how often each is changed, then estimate the oil from a typical and a busy week. Include weekends or events that fall between planned collections. The team can use that starting estimate to discuss capacity and cadence.
Is support available 24/7?
Yes, for service questions. Collection times follow the agreed route; support availability does not mean pickup at every hour.
FAQ
Storage and equipment
For an answer about your exact address or service agreement, call our team.
(347) 534-0622 →What container sizes can we discuss?
Current options shown here include a 55-gallon steel drum, 70-gallon indoor wheeled plastic container, 140-gallon outdoor steel tank and 240-gallon outdoor steel bin. Sizes are nominal; availability, usable fill capacity and placement are confirmed for your site.
Are containers included?
Available equipment and responsibility for it are included in the proposal for your site.
Where should a container go?
Choose a place staff can reach safely and the crew can service, subject to property rules and access.
Is the largest container always the best choice?
No. The usable capacity has to fit the oil accumulated between visits, while leaving a workable staff transfer path and collection access. Doorways, gates, docks and property rules may limit placement.
What if the container fills early?
Call with your service address and remaining capacity. The team can review available options.
How can we reduce oil theft?
Keep the collection point controlled, verify unexpected visitors and report damage or missing oil.
FAQ
Terms and changing providers
For an answer about your exact address or service agreement, call our team.
(347) 534-0622 →Will you pay for our used cooking oil?
Qualifying rebate accounts receive monthly payments. Eligibility, rate and payment method are set by the written agreement for each location; ask for a proposal that covers collection, equipment and measurement.
How do I switch providers?
Review notice periods and container ownership, then plan the new setup around your current obligations. Confirm the removal and placement dates for the two containers.
What should I compare in an offer?
Ask about collection cadence, equipment ownership, oil measurement, statements and any payment terms.
When are statements available?
Green Nature provides a statement after every pump-out. Keep each one to reconcile against the monthly statement and, for qualifying rebate accounts, the monthly payment.
How can our manager check an oil payment statement?
Match the service address and collection dates to your pickup records, then compare recorded quantity, agreed rate, adjustments and total with the written agreement and monthly payment. Call (347) 534-0622 or email info@gnroil.com about a discrepancy.
Can several locations be reviewed together?
Yes. Share each address, oil output and site access details.
